The Bild Online reported earlier this week, that Tokio Hotel band member, Tom Kaulitz allegedly hit a woman at a gas station in Hamburg in April of this year, and now a resolution to matter may be for the German courts to decide. The Hamburg prosecutor’s office has brought assault charges against Kaulitz, according to the Bild.

However, there is a back story to this latest report. According to the report, the woman took a photograph of Kaulitz through the window while at the gas station.

According to the Bild report, he rolled down his window and threw his cigarette at her, which she then put out on the window of his car.

That’s when Kaulitz reportedly got out and hit her and shoved her to the ground. The Local reported that he also shoved another woman against the back of his car, before getting back in and driving away. The Bild writes that Perrine sustained injury to her eye and ear as a result of the incident.

The Local reports there had been complaints from the Kaulitz family about the girl group, who call themselves, the Afghans on Tour. There have also been threats against family members and the girls have staked out the Kaulitz house. According to The Local after a threat against Kaulitz’s mother, the band filed for a restraining order against members of the gang.

On the day of the indicident, the Bild reported that Perrine had followed Tom Kaulitz from his studio in Lüneburg—about an hour away from Hamburg by car. Perrine’s lawyer, according to a report in the Hamburger Abendblatt filed criminal charges against Kaulitz.

According to a report in SodaHead.com, who cited a report on Der Spiegel TV the girlsannounced the escalation beforehand.

The SodaHead.com reported in April after the incident, that the band’s management offered a peace offering after the incident. However, it was declined, because the condition was that the girls would have to stay away from the band.
